| The Whitetail Map Guide is an interactive map utility that features white-tailed deer populations by county throughout the United States. It's based on our popular Outdoor Adventure Guide and includes the 3D topographic background as well as numerous topographic and manmade features. This map is a great reference tool for all deer hunters, deer managers, or anyone with an interest in white-tailed deer.
The 1999 White-tailed Deer Density Map layer is provided by The Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) and was compiled with the cooperation of the Department of Natural Resources of several states and other state Fish and Wildlife Agencies. The QDMA is a non-profit wildlife conservation organization dedicated to ensuring a high-quality and sustainable future for white-tailed deer and white-tailed deer hunting. The QDMA's mission is to promote sustainable, high quality white-tailed deer populations, wildlife habitats, and ethical hunting experiences through education, research, and management in partnership with hunters, landowners, natural resource professionals, and the public.
