Put Your Dot on the Map!
Welcome to the "Put Your Dot on the Map" Free Business Listing Service. This utility allows you to add your business information and its location to The Whitetail Map Guide. You will be asked to fill out a brief form with your business information and then you will be presented with an interactive map that will allow you to place a dot at your business location.
Data Storage and Display
The information you enter will become part of the interactive map database for the I-Maps Internet Map Server and will be displayed on the The Whitetail Map Guide during your current session. The data you enter will be posted to a verification page for your review before it is processed and later permanently added to the mapping utility.
The business name you enter will be displayed in the business list frame on the right side of the map utility.
It will also be used to label your business on the map.
Your business name, address and phone number will be displayed at the top of an information page that will be linked to your business listing.
Information Page Content
Your business information page will consist of the information you enter on the application form. Your page will be automatically generated upon submission and stored on our servers where it will later be activated upon approval by one of our staff members (see below). Keep in mind that the information page is just a short page that conveys basic information about your business.
Submission Approval
The Free Business Listing Service is FREE for all outdoor related businesses. Your temporary submission will be permanently added to the map utility upon approval by one of our staff members. Our staff will verify your business information and it will be added to the mapping utility upon approval.
