The St. Louis City Guide is the first of our city guide series.   This map utility features a 10 meter DEM as a 3D topographic backdrop along with an enhanced manmade features layer that includes airports, shopping malls, hospitals, schools, churches, parks, and golf courses.   This map is a great tool to get to know your neighborhood. The sidebar list on the left side of the map displays the names of the municipalities in the St. Louis metropolitan area.   The sidebar list on the right initially begins with a set of instructions and displays the contents of the current theme (currently set to "All Businesses").   As you zoom in, the list of businesses will be queried to match the geographic extent of the map.   You may select a business from the list, or choose the "select" button on the control panel to select a business location marker on the map. The info link under each business name links to additional information about the selected business.   Users may use the Theme Control button to further query the desired amount of map information to be shown.
